Not very good because the sheepskin wool comes off in large pieces. Appears to be man made, not real sheepskin as I thought!

The pad was very comfortable, eliminated hard jolts from bumps, etc. Only drawback was it sits up a little high. Made backrest for passenger too low. Other than that, great product.

It will sit you up about an inch higher so if you have short legs pay attention when you stop. I used mine on a 5,000 mile, 10 day, ride and was glad to have it. I have a stock Heritage and don't need a pad for short rides (<500 miles)

Works as advertised. Live in Northern Illinois and learned the hard way not to leave the gel seats in an unheated garage all winter.

I ride as a passenger on a new Heritage and the gel pad absorbs the bumps and makes the ride much more comfortable. Well worth the price. Great investment.

As comfortable as a rock! I bought this gel pad for my trip to Laconia NH for the annual rally. I ride 550 miles each way and decided it was time to add some comfort to my seat. I removed the strap since it didn't fit my bike anyway and was pleased that the rubber coating on the bottom of the pad seemed to "stick" to my seat pretty well. Unfortunately that's where the up side of this product ended. This thing felt like sitting on a concrete slab! It has a layer of so called memory foam which didn't seem to do a thing to add comfort. In addition the gel is super hard. I rode with this thing under me for 200 miles and then pulled it off for the "comfort" of my factory Softail Standard seat! What a waste of money and time! I promptly returned this item to J&P who issued me a refund thankfully. I also wrote the maker of the pad but didn't hear back from them which was no surprise. If I was looking for a pad to put on my seat I would look elsewhere if I was you. Unless of cours

Excellent product. I purchased this item for intallation ..inside the stock seat. Removed the seat, separated the seat, and inserted the gel cushion. Flexes w/ body movement and provides the cushion I need in my 50s.
