Well...just from using it here at my computer I can assure you it is WAY better than a gel. Long after your butt is uncomfortable on a gel seat, this one just stays comfortable. It is so much better that you can compare a gel to a stocker more closely. Nothing quite compares with this one. Plus, in just a second you can put in more air or let some out and adjust it to where you want it. I have been experimenting with this one and I love it. I have no doubt it will be sweet on the bike. The bottom is nicely thick and yet pliable and has a texture that keeps it right where you put it. Nice thing is you can take it with you and sit on it in the grandstand at a race and be completely comfortable there too. You won't go wrong with this rather EXPENSIVE item...it is worth every cent. I would recommend this to anyone.

Early days yet but first impressions are very good. The pad is well constructed and very comfortable. However I have not done any really long rides on it yet so whether it extends my riding distances after a few hundred miles in the saddle remains to be seen.

If you buy anywhere else, you're losing money. JP Cycles is the place to buy!!!

I ride a Harley Davidson Sportster 1300 miles in a weekend often, this pad makes the difference between being sore and bruised for a week and feeling like I rode a hundred miles. I had no shoulder fatigue, almost no rear end pain. I recomend it to everyone! Way Better Than Gel!!!

Superb comfort on the long haul, but you should consider you end up sitting higher which sticks you head up into the wind a little more but worth it.

So far I like it. Haven't had the chance to really test it out yet.

What a ride-saver this cushion is! I'm too tall for my ride (Yamaha V-Star 650 Custom). What I needed was something to both boost me up in the seat to make me more comfortable and add comfort to the ride, too since the roads aren't maintained well around here. I couldn't afford buying a custom seat and gel pads looked promising, but the latter didn't offer much air circulation to help cope for the hot riding down here in Ceti Alpha 5 (a.k.a., Texas.) Then I found the Airhawk seat cushion here on J&P and thought, "Hey, it's worth a shot." What an dramatic improvement! The extra inch in height--as well as the incredibly comfortable ride--did the trick! I couldn't be more pleased with it. If there's anything that caused concern it's the return policy: it's contradictory. It states that in order to return the cushion it has to be in new condition. Then it goes on to say that if you're not pleased with it after riding it after 60(?) days, return it for a refund. Well...?

I used this pad on my 95 FXDWG and it worked great. Before using it I could ride about 100 miles before needing to get off the bike, after 200 - 250 miles no prob. Made a big difference in overall comfort.

Riding with this type of seat pad will give you a feeling of floating on the bike. That is not what you need in order to really connected with your ride & how well it's gripping the road around corners.

Product a bit expensive, seems to do the job well i prefer less air seems to sit naturally over seat.

Excellent product. Rode 1400 miles in 4 days without getting sore! Great service from J&P, as I have come to expect. Thanks!

Being tall, this sits me up even higher. However, it's an easy trade-off, for the comfort of my butt. This really works great.

I have not been able to adjust the pad to where it is comfortable yet. I hope as I work with it, that it will get better.

Extremely comfortable cushion. It definitely releived the tail bone pain I experience. The cushion does not slip around on seat. I tried Gel seats and they just didn't cut it. The Air Hawk does.

Excellent product with quality construction, My wife refuses to ride wihout it.

Works as advertised. Because it is filled with air and has a control valve, it is very easy to adjust it to your liking.

I have been using the best gel pad you can buy for the past year. It allowed me to ride a bit further but still ended up with a very soar but!!! One day, I noticed a good-looking pad on one of my chapter member’s bike, which caught my eye very quickly. My club member allowed me to inspect the (AIRHAWK). I was very impressed with the quality of the pads outer shell and the honeycomb rubber inflatable insert, which is very easily adjusted buy un-screwing the mouthpiece and adding air or releasing air. Now I can ride 100 miles with very little soreness. If adjusted properly, you can move your butt and feel the air in the rubber honeycomb insert, move all around your but. It’s kind of like a feeling of floating on air. With the venting around the sides of the outer shell, it allows air to circulate the inside of the honeycombed rubber insert, keeping your butt cool. If you have a sore and hot butt, I recommend the (AIRHAWK) pad. You won’t be disappointed.
