Wow! What a great bag. We just got back from a 5 day trip. This thing easily handled the extra gear we needed to pack. Great construction. Holds its shape. Fantastic tie-down system. I'm recommending this to all my friends.

Bought this bag to put on the King Tourpak of my 98 RK for a week long beach trip. Worked great. Largest/widest pack I've seen, but didn't really obstruct view. Zip off backpacks worked great going to the beach through the week. I strapped something against it, and couldn't get to the rain cover on the way down. Definitely practice with the rain cover before setting out instead of learning on the road. You can open the tourpack with the bag on, just be careful with the hinges. Didn't bother handling as much as I expected, but did make the front end feel light. Just took getting used to. Perfect for my needs.

Bags are great,easily on and off of bike as well as needed rain cover first time out and kept everything clean and dry.

I like it.six quick snaps hold it secure to and easy removal from trunck rack,strong,durable,good quality and lots of room for jackets,maps ,gloves ,water,sunglasses or whatever.

Lots of room and the life-time warranty is great! Perfect for my Ultra.
I really like the corner pockets that allow the passenger to store their drinks while riding. Recommend highly and the people at J&P are super also.

I bought the T-Bag Dakota Bag to use on a 3 day trip with my old lady. It held everything the two of us needed plus the additional t-shirts we bought. The bag would easily hold everything I would need for a 7-10 day solo trip. There are two detachable side pockets which we never used separately; they might come in handy on another trip. It provides two external insulated pockets for one liter water bottles; these are much easier to access than items in the Tour-Pak. I had limited access to the tour pack which can not be opened completely with the bag attached but with proper packing this was not an issue.
I have the premium luggage rack; I do not think it will work with the mini luggage rack.
I really like this bag and would buy it again. I do have some suggestions when using the Dakota: the first one is to pack the saddle bags with the items you will need on the road because of the limited access to the tour pack. The second is to secure all of the straps to the inner rails of the rack before

I have used horizontal bags for 15 years. The T-Bags Dakota is the biggest and best one I've ever used. There are ample bungy loops to strap the bag down and to strap stuff to the bag. There is an abundance of room in the bag. There is easy access to all the compartments while the bag is strapped to my scoot. I really like this bag.
