works well but you should use two per bag.

No instructions. Gotta look at the pic on the web site. Work good on 95 Heritage but i need two for each side. Fast and cheap as usual from JP.

My friends bags have bent inward and looked terrible so I ordered these braces so his Harley looks good.

 tocantan Posted:

Braces are short on left side bag. But works great on the other side.

 erinmcmurtrey Posted:

These help a bit, but you almost need 2 on each side. Using 2 gives you little room to access the bag itself. At the same time, it's not that big a deal to remove, and replace these braces when getting into the bag.

 trikydik101 Posted:

The braces need some minor "fixes", as my bags dont have anywhere to hook them into. A little bit of velcro and they work ok.

it does the job.

 cchal458 Posted:

I was disappointed when I first attached the brace pair to my Sporty leather bags. They would slip off inside. Thank God for velcro, now they stay in place and make the bags look new.

 trashman1953 Posted:

Were not what I expected--do not make the bags look like I wanted.

Will do the job. Posted:

A simple item that helps keep the shape of the bags. Worth the money.

 Bobby Mullinax Posted:

They were to short ,did not fit at all.

 cmarvin1 Posted:

Could not get it to stay on the bag.

 crobasse Posted:

Does what it says and fits my large saddlemen desperado bags perfectly.

It works well. Product is well worth it.

 Wharepai Posted:

They work, but get in the way. Will be ordering a second set for the other side though.

 milegr Posted:

Lack of instructions disappointed me, at least the catalog had a good picture. On my 2007 Heritage I had to slite the leather about one inch at the outer top of the bag to install. Without instructions I wasn't sure if this is how I was supposted to do it or not. After this though they seem to do what they say but they fall out easy when you open the bags. You have to pay attention or they will be lost.

Performed as stated! Eliminated saggy middle portion of saddlebag. Recommended!

 thedragonrider Posted:

The product will do what it says, but I have an '06 Heritage Softail Classic and my saddlebags do not have the split in the top edge that allows them to slip into.

 PortLucaya Posted:

Works very well and worth the price.

 stephenson Posted:

I found the exact items needed for my Harley saddlebags. I couldn't find the special parts anywhere in Canada or the Harley catalogue. The J&P contacts were very prompt and courteous. I wouldn't hesitate to reorder from J&P again.
