Used on original vinyl seat cover to add spots. I needed to sharpen the blades and they bent while using. You are better off making your own jig and saving the money.

Complete, pot metal junk. No lie, I didn't manage to poke 1 hole with this before it broke. I ended up using an ice pick for the job instead.

Other rhan a lack of instructions, This tool worked out very well. I used a sft piece of wood to push into and it worked great. Blades held up fine for me.

I would not recommend this tool unless you're working with very thin leather, vinyl or some other soft material. I used it to install studs on my saddlebags. Blades won't stay tight and bend easily. Adjustment of blade width is extremely limited. Size of tool is much smaller than expected, making it difficult to work with. The quality does not match the price.

The pot-metal construction, and the thickness of the piercing prongs make this product almost useless. You can fabricate something from your garage that will work better.

The spot tool is a great idea and would be most useful. However, the cutter points were too flimsy and the bar that is to hold them in position on the cutter handle broke. I would not recommend this item for any of the J&P customers. Definitely not J&P quality.
