Marginal chrome, , a feeling of questionable quality. Front pipe at not quite the correct angle, be sure to install new gaskets for a fresh crush in. Horse power, particularly low end torque is dramatically improved. Better performance in all rpm ranges with a nice sound for the most part, will reverberate like a bell when around 60 mph. The VT1100C is a better bike with straight pipes and a re-jet, no matter what pipe brand you get. These are single walled and easily blued, but mount up without difficulty. You should place a washer between the frame and the bottom bracket to kick out the pipes a tad for better front pipe alignment.
Expected baffles with these pipes. Did no get them. Pipes fit very well and look great but are ear spitting loud. Need to order baffles for them.
