Used to improve the appearance and stiffen wires wrapped with the Roundit Wire Wrap. You definitely need to use a hot knife (I used as soldering iron) to cut it or it will fray. I needed to use the larger diameter to allow for scrunching up the covering while I connected the wires, as this product is a tube and needs a path to slide onto the what you are covering.
