Nice look on bike, great sound, but discolored immediately within the first few miles, even after following the manufacturer's installation instructions. The extensive warnings about discoloration enclosed in the packaging was a definite tipoff in retrospect.

The pipes fit great, they bolted right on with no hassle. For those wanting the deep sound here is a tip. I have cut the baffles down to 3" and drilled 1/4" holes around the flang. This creates enough back pressure while keeping the deep tone.

Pipes look good and sound good. Did re-jet. Also removed muffler for short period, but was too loud.

I ordered these pipes for my VT1100 Spirit. They have a great look but not as loud as I wanted without gutting them. But I guess they are fine the way they are so please give these a try if you want great looks and style.

the only problem i found the instructions called for a bracket to mount the rear pipe it was'nt included in package as it said and since its a Christmas present only installed them on my sons bike last friday im going to make a bracket so the rear pipe is stabalized

Installed on my '97 Vulcan 800A and WOW! I installed without the baffles and these pipes purr and roar. Very impressed, definitely get the big bike sound out of them. I tried it with the baffles in and they still sound awesome but just not as Drag Racer sounding. I jetted the carb for the baffles out, but plan to change to jetting for baffles in, since they still sound very impressive without the neighbors complaining. Mainly I bought these pipes for safety, “loud pipes save lives.” No more people cutting me off or pulling out in front of me. They hear me before they see me both with baffles in or out. Either way, these pipes are tuned and very awesome sounding.

Very pleased with these pipes. Running with baffles in, will try with them out. Someone actually thought my 800 Vulcan was a harley when they heard it. Beautiful pipes. Very happy with them. Glad I chose Cobra pipes. The price at J&P? No one was cheaper.

I recieved my Cobra Drag pipes today, had them installed in less than a half hour, everything fit perfectly and they sound great very pleased with them.
