This guard looks nice and seems well built, however it would not fit on my bike as indicated in the fitment spec. (2010 Kawasaki Vulcan Custom 900) I'm not passing judgement on the quality or workmanship, just the design. First, there was not enough room to insert the spacers on both sides which left a small gap on one side between the guard mount and the frame of the bike. This could be remedied easily with washers however more importantly, it interfered with the operation of the shift peg and rear brake pedal. I don't have floorboards, just foot pegs and there was no room to get a foot under the shift peg, the guard was in the way. The rear brake pedal would make contact with the guard limiting its range of motion.

They are very heavy duty, a snap to install and look great on her bike. She loves them.
