This seat is 'just what the doctor ordered'! It is beautifully made, fits the bike perfectly and, most importantly, gives me an exceptionally comfortable place to sit on my 2015 Triumph Storm. And, the purchase process with J&P was all that I have come to expect from them. The seat was shipped quickly and arrived exactly on time.
Had real high hopes for the Mustang seat. So far after about 400 plus miles of riding, not real happy with the seat. After about 50 miles ready to get off. Need to contact customer service with Mustang and check on any break-in time.
Love the new seat. The passenger seat is "extra comfi" the wife says.
I love my mustang seat and I would encourage anyone to replace their original seat with this one. But you need to inform all who buy that they must take it apart to put it on. No one knew to take it apart first and there were no instructions to do that before installing it.
It Sets me forward too far and makes my back hurt
Very nice seat. Seems a little hard at first but after a bit of a ride you sink into it. Excellent quality for the price. On the V-Star 1100 Custom it sits you up and forward just a smidge from stock. My girlfriend raves about the comfort of the passenger seat over the stock seat as well. Overall an excellent purchase! The only con (minor) - it utilizes the stock bracket. I had to elongate the mounting holes in the stock bracket in order to get it to mount to the fender.. no biggie though.
I suffered with the stock 1100 Vstar seat and a gel seat for years, never able to get off the bike without some kind of pain. I decided to try a new seat instead of a new bike based on a friends recent Mustang Seat experience, and wow, what a difference! Finally I can cruise for hours on end, and get off the bike in good shape, and the wife just loves her new seat too! Compared to the stock seats, this is really a five star product, at a really good price. I had no issues with installation, and it took less then an hour to install. Thanx JP and Mustang!!
Much improved over stock seat. Much more comfortable ride. Can ride longer between rest breaks and not near as sore at the end of the ride.
This should have been the FIRST item I added to my bike. My riding day is all day now. Comfort=100%.
Easy installation. Taking a little time to get broken in. Either way a great deal more comfortable on long trips than the stock seats.
Not only is the rider seat more comfortable than the stock seat, your pillion will appreciate her new perch. Doesn't everyone want a happy pillion?
so comfortable, went for my first long ride with it and back and butt felt great after hundreds of miles. Easy to install, one of the best additions to my bike yet!
We absolutely love the seats. The tech went above and beyond in finding me the best deal.
much more comfortable then stock seat, passenger pillion has extra padding, great for longer trips.
After hearing many recommendations for this seat I finally broke down and ponied up the dough. WOW!!! This seat is well worth the investment for comfort. And the looks are great as well. Since I can go from two up to solo in minutes or vice versa, I couldn't ask for a better add on for my bike. (The better half loves that she can take her seat with her so no "babes" can tag along when I'm out by myself.)
I found the Mustang saddle to be easy to install, everything fit properly, and most importantly, the wife and I can now enjoy much longer rides. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a little more comfort!
This Mustang seat was easy to install. They look great and are even more comfortable than original.
These seats are great my wife says she dont even feel most of the bumps and are very comfortable
The Mustang touring seat I recently put on my 05 Vulcan Classic is terrific. The contour and padding are much better than factory. The other great thing is the passenger seat is wider and makes longer rides easier to do two up. I replaced my 99 Vulcan (still have it) seat with a Mustang four years ago and it is still in great shape.
very nice comfortable seat worth every penny
No surprised that this Mustang seat is excellent! High quality, gives me great lumbar support on my Aero, and my gal says the back seat is extremely comfortable. Also great price from J&P!
Wow! What a seat. The stock seat was so uncomfortable, I could never go much further than 50 miles on it. The Mustang seat is so nice and now the passenger never complains about it.
Seat looks great, it didn't seem like it fit on first try, (was getting dark already and my garage is not lit well!) Thick backrest on front portion moves driver forward, less cup in seat makes driver higher. Over all, bike feels easier to handle at stops! I am not short a just under 6', I think it positions my knees/hips better and doesn't squish the important stuff that got uncomfortable after an hour in the original saddle. J.
Excellent seat. Excellent looks and comfort. Best money I've spent so far.
This seat is very comfortable and has great lumbar support. Looks Great on Honda Shadow VT 750 C2F
Seat went on easy with 10 minutes. Wife really enjoys the extra comfort provided by the seat.
I suffered through years with the original seat on my VTX1300. Just replaced it with a mustang and what an incredible improvement. The wife also seems pleased.
love the mustang seat. i had a mustang wide touring seat on my previous bike, a honda shadow, that was always a joy to ride with never a sore backside, even after a 2049 mile road trip from nc to the bottom of florida and back. so i definitely had to purchase a mustang wide touring for my yamaha raider
Seat was very easy to install. I have ridden about 200 miles on it and it feels 100% better than the stock seat.
Just went on an 805 mile road trip. Between this seat and the highway pegs I installed I couldn't have asked for a more comfortable ride on my vtx. It took a little elbow grease to get the seat mounted first go around, but after the first few times putting it on and taking it off it's now effortless.
