Great fit easy install
Unless you can scratch your ankles without bending over, the grips on a Yamaha are a bit too forward for comfortable riding. These are a good adjustment which do not raise the handlebar level.
Great Fit only had to reroute the clutch cable. More comfortable on longer trips moving the bars 2" back!!
I put these on a 2007 Road Star. They were easy to install. I had to reroute my front brake line from running in front of the triple tree to running behind. The risers bring the bars back just enough.
Easy install, looks good, and makes long distantce rides more comfortable.
I was very pleased with both the price and quality of the item. There were no issues with installation, and fits very well. I plan to purchase many more itmes from J&P Cycles in the near future.
I had the risers installed by my husband and a friend of his. They were fairly easy to install on my 2006 Yamaha V-Star. It did take all 3 of us to do it, but I didn't have to change any cables and I am a lot more comfortable riding. I was also impressed at how fast my order came to the house.
The stock control cables and electrical cables do not work without re-routing them. The front brake line is streched to maximum.
