We give you step-by-step instructions to install a BDL open belt drive on your Harley M8 touring bike, in this case a Road King. A belt drive’s kind of old school, hot rod stuff, and typically they ran them really wide, but now BDL has a narrower one. We can fit our BDL Black 2” Open Belt Drive on here between the floorboard and still be good to go. Belt drives are an upgrade, a hot rod item, and you can hold more horsepower. The BDL one comes with a really nice clutch set-up as well.

All the special tools and torque specs are included throughout the video, so let’s get wrenching.
