Description for Dunlop American Elite MU85B16 77H Rear Tire

You shouldn't have to worry about tread life when you're on the throttle. The Dunlop American Elite rear motorcycle tire makes that dream a reality. Designed and tested in the USA specifically for American cruising and touring bikes, the Elites use proprietary MT Multi-Tread tire technology, which provides long-wearing compound in the center of the tread and a lateral-grip compound on the shoulders to enhance cornering performance and tread life. Sizes are available for newer and older Harley-Davidson models and select Victory and Indian motorcycles. Available in Blackwall, Narrow White Stripe (NWS) and Wide Whitewall (WWW).

• The Dunlop American Elite MU85B16 Rear Tire provides long-lasting tire life and all-weather grip using Dunlop's MT Multi-Tread compound

• This blackwall, tubeless, bias-ply Dunlop tire is available in numerous sizes to fit a wide selection of cruiser and touring motorcycles

• Designed, tested, and manufactured in the USA, and proudly says so on the sidewall alongside the American Elite name and Multi-Tread logo

• Also available in Narrow White Stripe 105-374 and wide whitewall 105-375

NOTE: Tubes and rim strips should be replaced when tires on spoke wheels are replaced.

MICHAEL on 7/8/2019

usually I change 2 rears and 1 front tire, but with the rear lasting as long as it does ,I do them both at the same time.not saving any moneybut less bother.

WAYNE on 7/8/2019

awesome tire...wet or dry, feels real good on the bike. Gave it 4 stars because I only got 10044 miles from it and I was told I would get a lot more. Even worn way down it still handle great unlike other tires I have had. This was for a loaded down Road Glide so maybe I am being too critical about the mileage...

BLAISE on 6/18/2019

6225 miles on last rear. Aggressive rider on a Road King

JIM on 6/13/2019

Really like the American Elites better than the D402's. They have longer mileage & handle better.

JEFF on 5/21/2019

Great wearing tire for the touring bike ,with a harder center compound you get longer life but still have the softer compound on outer edge for cornering.

JEFFREY on 5/12/2019

Great looking tire. I don't have it broke in yet. I have only put about 20 miles on the tire but i have put it in a few hard turns with no slippage felt. New tires are not sticky at all so whenever it stops raining, i will get on a large parking lot and do some figure 8’s to scuff up the tire gor better traction.

CHARLES on 5/5/2019

GENE on 4/22/2019

NICK on 4/6/2019

Absolutely love the tire after about 100 miles. However I will never do business with JPcycles again. They have been one of the worst companies I've ever purchased anything from.
