Better than ram mount by far. Heavy duty metal not plastic like ram👍

Bpught this in store 2/9/19, I had a chrome one of these before on my prior bike and it lasted about two years before the cupholder portion started cracking at the bolt head and no longer stayed in place. On this one, I got everything mounted up to the point of the cupholder itself but the supplied bolt to hold the cup onto the bracket is not long enough and yes-I did have the oblong mount fully inside the groove in the cup and the round notch inside the bracket, and was at this point only finger tightening the acorn nut but it still would not catch before it loosened as a result of trying to tighten it while it was only grabbing a couple of threads. As a result, the acorn nut began to strip the threads so I removed it and tried threading without the bracket and it went in all the way and held tight without issue. Back to mounting it to the bracket and I tried to apply high pressure to the bolt head to get more threads through the bracket but it was back to the same-couple turns then it popped back loose. I then tried to add high strength thread locker but still it would not hold the cup holder in place. Returning this thing to the store next time I am in that area since they are 120 miles from my house.
