Description

Description for Danmoto Performance Head Pipe Exhaust Stainless Steel

• These Danmoto Performance headers are made of CNC mandrel bent, TIG welded SS304 stainless steel Tube.

• They replace the stock headers( which are equipped with a very restrictive Catalytic converter) to increase the flow through the exhaust system, which increases the engine performance.

• These headers feature stepped header flanges, a full merge collector and a light weight construction.

• By installing these, you can get about 6-10hp on top end and more torque in mid range.

• By replacing your stock headers with one of these you also reduce the weight of your bike and reduce the engine running temperature.

• The Danmoto Performance headers fit exactly like the stock headers. They have the same mounting points and O2 sensor ports.

• You can also re-install the original heat shields, to keep the factory look. In this way you can't see that these headers are installed, but you can feel it on the throttle. (does not include heat shields)

• They are compatible with the stock mufflers as well as with aftermarket mufflers. The connection flanges are exactly in the same position and in the same size as the ones on the stock headers.

• The Heat shields shown in the pictures are for reference only. No heat shields included!

To start, the finish, welds and over all look of the product was great. The problem started at installation. After the fight to get the flanges to line up, everything else was about a half inch off. That would be the crossover and where it should mount to the transmission. I would not recommend buying this part.

Header came in sooner then expected. It was very easy to install. Sounds a lot better then it did with a lot less heat. Put the stock heat shields back on and you can't even tell I changed it. The OD of the headers is just a little bigger then the stock header cause my Rinehart slip-on had a little hard of a time going back on.

Ordered these head pipes. Very good quality. Fit my bike perfect. Bike runs very great. So much less heat. I recommend these head pipes!!!!!

Important Product Notes

Important Exhaust Notes:

• Note: With any new exhaust, we recommend changes to carburetor jetting or use of an aftermarket fuel injection control module.

• There is no warranty on exhaust pipes and mufflers with regard to any discoloration. Blueing is caused by tuning characteristics, cam timing, carburetor jetting, overheating, etc. and is not caused by defective manufacturing. No refunds on exhaust pipes once motorcycle is started unless there’s a manufacturer’s defect.

• Flanges and retaining rings are not included with most aftermarket exhaust for Evolution and Twin Cam models. Re-use your existing hardware, or purchase replacement hardware.
