kwkride

I am running a set Continental ContiTour tires on my 2014 Harley Davidson Ultra Limited (FLHTK). I ride my motorcycle almost daily. Most of my miles are commuting miles. I have now put a little over 8,000 miles on these tires since last April. About 400 of these miles was with a passenger. They handle well even in the rain. My main concern is the tread wear. The original tires were changed out for these at 18,024 miles. The front still had decent tread and the rear still had about 3/32" left, but I was planning ahead. Now with 8,000 miles on the ContiTour tires, the rear is down to 4/32 tread depth already. I run my tires at 36 psi front and 40 psi rear per the owners manual.(And Continental's recommendation) I check the tire pressure at least twice a week. More often if I put in a lot of miles. At this rate I'm expecting the the rear will probably be worn out by 10,000 miles. This is very disappointing. That is basically half of the tread wear that I obtained with the stock Dunlops.

Important Product Notes
