JACKIE on 7/15/2019

I installed this lowering kit on a 2002 XLC Sportster. I lowered the bike 2 inches and it handles great. I was very well pleased with how this project turned out and at how much better the bike handles. The one thing that needs improvement is the instructions they send are not very clear. I watched several online videos from several different companies to figure out how the install was supposed to work. I also had several questions that the instructions were not clear on. So it helps if you have mechanical understanding and or enough patience to watch several videos and figure it out.

Cost effective, quality springs. Actually lowered front of an 07 FLHTC 1.375” with minimum drop set up. Bike was dead level with HD SG shocks in rear. Would have given 5 stars but, instructions are to vague, almost to the level of pointless. A little soft for me at 250, but work great for my brother, that they were installed for. He is 190lbs. Used type E oil, heavy oil may have slowed dampening enough, without complete disassembly of the front end to add more preload. The bike is ridden with confidence now, and feet are on the ground at the lights.
