I bought these frame sliders because they looked well made and at a fair price. And did I pay the price, not once, TWICE. These frame sliders sheared off from the frame of my bike twice. Each time on opposite sides of the bike. This all happened while I was commuting home on the freeway and the sheared off piece hit the vehicle behind me. The first time their product failed, the manufacturer replaced the frame sliders and sent a new kit. Cool. The second time they sheared off my bike, I requested a full refund, plus the costs endured to remove the leftover pieces in my bike. I had to take my bike to a welding shop to remove the leftover piece in the engine block. Instead of following the golden rule of "the customer is always right", they instead began to argue with me over a scratch on my bike from the previous owner, then they accused me of wrecking the bike! My bike is in excellent condition FYI. After several exchanges with many customer service reps, the request was escalated. Instead of resolving the issue, they accused me of laying and trying to get money out of them. As a company, $125, the MSRP of their product, and $100, the cost I've paid the welder to remove the leftover bolt on my bike ($250 total) is pocket change. For me, as a customer is a hefty price. Just as much, if not more, of a better quality product. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT WILL FAIL. I work in the design and manufacturing industry and this company does not stress test their products enough and they are not safe. Ever since the first piece sheared off, I have developed the habit of constantly looking down at my bike and away from the road to make sure everything is in its right place. All I wanted was peace of mind, instead, I got riding anxiety.
