The Easy Brackets Saddlebag Mounting System is both very good and very bad. The bracket is solid and well built with a good design. The lock that keeps it on the bike is very poor in quality. It is so cheap in quality that the metal of the lock craters which allows your saddlebag to fall off the bike. It ruined my $400.00 saddlebag. I recommend buying the bracket but also recommend replacing the cam-lock with a better quality lock. I used a lockcraft cam-lock and spent about 30 minutes with a file modifying the original locking arm to fit the larger/stronger cam-lock. Well worth the time as I now have a very solid lock and a great saddlebag bracket.

I was cautiously optimistic when I ordered these, you can't really know how they are gonna look and work until after you've ruined a set of throw-over bags. I say ruined because you have to cut and drill the bags to mount on these brackets. But I wasn't disappointed. The fit is perfect on my 99 Night Train. Initially one side went on/off hard because of the thickness of the paint on the bracket, but after I repeatedly put it on/off and wore off the trouble spot they give me no trouble. The mounting hardware that remains on the bike when the bags are off is not necessarily great looking, but it's not bad.

Work perfect. Bolted right up to bike. Have to drill holes in your saddlebags and grind down the saddlebag bolts (a little long). No complaints.

these are great, easy to get on and off and hold your bags

The brackets are a little hard to remove from the bike. but I love it that they do. I can go from a bagger to a striped down racer in a turn of the key!

Install is easy look's good doesnt put bags too far from bike ,no rattles as of yet. Removal and replacement of bags not bad, I have an after market seat that is wider then stock. Thinking of lowering bags about an inch. Bolts do stick into bag thinking about turning them around. Locks work well

Nice brackets. A little loose and bags rattle some when installed.
