This item was a perfect fit . The mounting and wiring went together without issue.

Puts out 14.5 volts and seems to be built better then OEM regulator. Looks better then OEM regulator.

1996, 883 Sportster bolted in perfect and looks real good: tested 14.6 V at idle (with a new stator at the same time). My old voltage regulator was cracked and presumably shorted the old stator. At any rate after the work involved in putting in a new stator I was not going to take the chance with the old voltage regulator, no doubt.

Looks good and produces strong output. I bought it for the advertised benefit of cooler running

This product fit right on the bike easy to install quality looks good heavier than stock looks better than the stock performance perfect no complaints

After testing my stater which showed correct voltage, I decided to shotgun and swap out regulator...original issue intermittent loss of charging (computer error lite, battery low lite) always would fix itself before I was able to get home and check system out. This new Regulator is outputting slightly higher voltages and after two weeks I've had no issues with loss of charging voltage(I watch the volt gauge a lot)

Not the quality of factory but it works.

This is a much beefier looking unit than the stock one. The instructions are very clear, and it mounted up in a matter of minutes. I am more than pleased.
