Description for S&S Cycle Super 'E' Complete Carburetor Kit

Create higher air velocity, better low and mid-range response and power, and better performance for your motorcycle with the S&S Cycle Super E Complete Carburetor Kit. Smaller than the Super G with a 1-7/8" bore, this kit is recommended for engines with displacement up to 100 cubic inches, The Super E kit includes everything you need for installation on your Evo Softail, including rigid mounting style manifold without mount flanges and air cleaner. The Super E Complete Carburetor Kit also accepts stock late-model throttle cables on all Big Twin models. For models with longer strokes a custom intake manifold may be required. Adaptor kits are available to retain your factory cruise control.

Happy with the super E for my 2000 dyna superglide, i recently did some cams and exhust, the super e from s&s allowed me to get more torque, and raw hp, just what my bike was lacking, having the included jet pack of intermediate and main jets allowed me to dial it in real nice. S&S has a variety of step by step easy to follow videos on the internet if your a 1st time tuner, for optimal performance, when you get your jetting close, have it put on a dynommeter for the supurb fine tune for your scoot. Overall SAnd S products never fail to perform great at any application to harley davidson.

Perfect fit and for a 98 Electra Glide! Converted M&M EFI to carb and resulted in much better performance!

Important Product Notes

Note: S&S Cycle Super ‘E' and ‘G' carbs require the use of a dual cable throttle, one push and one pull. If you bike is not equipped with one, a dual cable system must be purchased separately. Use 500-388 or equivalent.

Note: S&S Cycle Super carbs will not fit 1957-1970 XLCH Ironhead Sportster models with vertical magnetos due to clearance issues with the fuel inlet and magneto, S&S Cycle no longer offers the alternative fuel inlet.

Note: Riders who own a Knuckle, Pan, Shovel or Ironhead Sportster that presently equipped with a 1-7/8" S&S Cycle carb and wish to convert to an S&S Cycle Super ‘E' or ‘G' without purchasing another intake manifold can do so by ordering 400-998 and an air cleaner.

Note: Super ‘B' cables and air cleaners will not work with Super ‘E' and ‘G' carbs.
