Arai Corsair X Nakasuga 2 Helmet

An evolution of the Corsair-V, the Arai Corsair-X implemented the best features with new technology to give you a superior helmet with more safety features than any other. Constructed of PB SNC2 (unique synthetic fibers) by Arai experts with a specialized resin that creates adheres the shell layers to create strength without adding weight. The VAS Shield System is truly unique to the Corsair-X by moving the pivot point of the helmet lower than any other and recessed into the helmet deeper than most making this variable axis point almost flush with the helmet shell. This allows a much smoother shell that when impacted will redirect energy as opposed to absorbing.

The VAS Max Vision face shield comes standard so you have better visibility in any weather and any season and features a clear Pinlock insert. A de-mist latch position slightly cracks the shield open and the VAS shield latch system holds the shield securely in place with no unexpected movement. With the quick release lever, you can easily remove and change the face shield with no complications. The interior is almost as impressive as the outside featuring an Eco-Pure liner that is fully removable and anti-bacterial. A chin curtain is included to minimize air intrusion while the removable neck roll features additional exhaust channels to remove interior heat. Removable temple and crown padding allow for a custom fit with the cheek pads that feature emergency release tabs. Easily use your ear buds or Bluetooth Communication System with the peel away ear pockets designed for speakers.

PB SNC2 Shell:

• Constructed from Super Fiber and other special synthetic fibers developed for F-1 helmet visor panels

VAS Shield System:

• VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair X Helmet
• Variable axis (moving pivot point) allows shield mount position to be lower than most helmets
• Dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal

VAS Shield Latch System:

• Captures and holds the face shield closed securely
• Provides a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open
• Larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation

VAS V MV Shield:

• Provides excellent visibility in all seasons
• Includes clear anti-fog Pinlock insert

Diffuser Type 12:

• X Type 12 air diffusers are longer than the Corsair V
• Straightened for improved aerodynamics
• Work together with the AirWing to improve stability and creates a 19% gain in efficiency
• Air intake vents have three positions (closed, half open and fully open)
• Vents are easy to operate with gloved hands
• Air intake vents create a tight seal to decrease wind noise and water intrusion

• Fully removable and soft  interior liner
• Made from odor-resistant material which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin
