Very nice set of bars but they do not look good on bigger bikes. These are almost solely for bobbers. They were to narrow for my style but I am considering welding a 6 inch piece in the middle of them to make them what I want.

Well for starters I bought these for my 2001 springer which they didn't recommend but after checking all the dimensions they fit just fine. Now one thing that must be mentioned is they don't have wire dimples so I had to customize them for that. All in all great product at a fair price. Most bars are at a stupid price point, it's bent metal. Jp cycles have always been good to me so my experience was excellent.

Handlebars Measuring Guide

To identify your handlebar needs, we recommend measuring your current handlebar's dimensions as a baseline.

To most closely match the measuring system used on our site, we recommend the following method:

Push a table against a wall. Prop up the handlebars in the corner where the table meets the wall, then rotate the bars forward until the front of the bars touch the wall. In this case, rise is the distance from the table to the highest point on the bars, with pullback measured from the wall to the farthest point back.

Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Width: Measure between the two outside points of the handlebars.
Center Width: Measure between the two inside points of the handlebars.
Rise: Measure from the base of the handlebars to their highest point.
Pullback: Measure from the front of the bars to the furthest point back.

Additional Considerations:

  • Handlebars for Springer Softails are different than bars for other bikes. Learn More
  • We offer bars in two groupings by year of fitment — pre–1982 and later models. The differences are the result of a change of configuration in the switch housings. Learn More
