It’s ok ! I spent $425 to install on my Harley 833 so if you gettin it for a Harley 883 or 1200 you got to keep in mind that you will need to extend the cables! That’s around $350 dollars. But it’s ok for the the price

Item was exactly what i wanted, it was also well protected with a sock around the bar and padding in the box. Well Done.

The bars were very nice. I chose these to close the reach for the wife. The final bend made them no better than what we already had. Tough being short. No fault of J&P Cycles.

I have had Buckhorn handlebars on two previous Harley's so it was a no brainer for me to buy these for my 2014 Switchback.

Beats the 16" apes that came on the bike as I am 65 yrs. old .Not a fan of the dimple for the wires and I should had checked the width before ordering .Wider would have been better. Otherwise satisfied with product & on time shipping . Thank you, Henry

awesome fit on a heritage for this old guy with some wrist and shoulder issues. the shape and hand placement gives me confidence on the highway and excellent slow speed maneuverability. it may not have the modern day look of the chiselled bars or ape hangers but for my ol' school looking sled they compliment her lines beautifully. for the price i took a gamble and it paid off big time

I don't know why more people don't use these type of bars. They are by far the most comfortable bars by far.

These bars had an 11" rise not 9 3/4" rise,I had to return them, my wiring harness was too short.

Handlebars Measuring Guide

To identify your handlebar needs, we recommend measuring your current handlebar's dimensions as a baseline.

To most closely match the measuring system used on our site, we recommend the following method:

Push a table against a wall. Prop up the handlebars in the corner where the table meets the wall, then rotate the bars forward until the front of the bars touch the wall. In this case, rise is the distance from the table to the highest point on the bars, with pullback measured from the wall to the farthest point back.

Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Width: Measure between the two outside points of the handlebars.
Center Width: Measure between the two inside points of the handlebars.
Rise: Measure from the base of the handlebars to their highest point.
Pullback: Measure from the front of the bars to the furthest point back.

Additional Considerations:

  • Handlebars for Springer Softails are different than bars for other bikes. Learn More
  • We offer bars in two groupings by year of fitment — pre–1982 and later models. The differences are the result of a change of configuration in the switch housings. Learn More
