Shootter

I recently purchased these for my 72 1000cc Harley Sportster. In the past I keep blowing head gaskets, not any more. I used the standard copper gaskets before and had blow after blow, so I tried the thicker copper gaskets for an early 80 model, that didn't work either. Finally after much research I tried these. These Teflon head gaskets are Top Shelf. They are a little thicker than the standard for my year Iron head but they flatten out nicely and fill in any imperfections you may have at the mating surfaces. I have noticed no loss of compression. If ever I tear it down again I'll without a doubt use these again. If J&P doesn't have them I'll wait for them, there just that good.
