Best tire in my opinion. Ordering my second set just to have

zallthat

I tried the Michelin Commander II tires on my 2004 Road King during my last tire change @ 105K miles. I had previously gone with Dunlop D402F (FRONT) & MT90r16 M/C 72H (REAR). The Dunlop's gave me 6k miles on the rear and 12k miles on the front. These Michelin Commander II tires have given me 15K+ miles on the the front and rear with plenty of tread still available. They handle just as well as the Dunlop tires but give you a lot more durability and wear life. I highly recommend these over Dunlop simply because of the $$ savings. I'm using the COMMANDER II 130/90B16 73H (FRONT) & 140/90B16 77H (REAR).

Rides like a Different Bike! Huge improvement

tm36176

I have a 2003 V star classic 1100 I replaced the tires in 2013 with The Commander II and put balance beads in the tires and have ridden hard for 3 seasons and have put about 18,000 miles on these tires and I am putting new commander II on this winter, I could get another season out of them but I decided to change them now because I had the wheels off for routine maintenance. I love the ride and control this is a completely different bike with these tires and the price is right and there was no cupping on these tires. I won't uyse any other tire on my bike

IALAW1955

I switched from the stock Dunlop 402 to the Michelin Commander II. I went to the same road, same place, I thought the Dunlop made a grinding noise like a bearing out. Although I replaced the bearings when I put on the Michelin, the old bearings seemed fine. Went around the same corner with the Michelins and it was smooth as silk...not squirmish, no weird noise, like it was on a rail. I'm getting Michelin for the rear next time too.

Front tire for Vaquero or Voyager, try it, you will love it........ soooooooo much better than OE Bridgestones that made it handle like a Harley.

gndfac

Excellent tire, it is best tire i have riden. (HD Dunlops, Mettzler 880s, Avon Venom. These are by far the BEST and as advertised pretty much double the milage compared to competitors. These are the only tires i will run, unless they come out with a better one, which not sure if that is even possible.

Brand new bike....great control

rush50

Read all the reviews ask people who were riding on them people said nothing but great thing . Replacing my Dunlap Elites O.E.M H.D.style tires on my Heavy 90 Ultra Classic ordered and Install front and rear added Ride-on self balancing sealer. I was Skeptical if the ride and performance of non O.E.M. tires or all hype 1st off a 20 mile test ride Smoothest and quiet ride ever on this bike and handle like a dream and stop great (OK I am impressed) returned home pickup my bride/riding partner of over 30 years for a 2 up test ride and 300 miles later we agreed it was not the same bike smooth ride quiet tires no more road reflector banging no crack loud popping no road/bridge transition hit or road seam chasing / tracking This is what a touring dresser should ride and handle like. OK next the higher mileage and rain claims report back later
