This is my 3rd Michelin Commander II rear tire. Put two on my 2003 Road Glide and one on my 2012 Road Glide. Have not found anything better! Rides like a dream.

jtertz

Bought these to replace the factory Dunlops on my 2015 Harley Ultra Limited and have been extremely pleased with them. As of now, two years later I have put over 31000 miles on them and they still have about 30% of their tread left on it. Since Biketoberfest is this week again and the Harley dealers will not install the Commander II's as they carry the "Scorcher 31" I will be replacing these this year again even though I have tread left.

huntdavey3

Great, fast, and free shipping from J&P. I'm a newer customer and happy so far. The tires....they're Michelin! What more can you say? They're the best! I've been a fan for years on anything from bikes to big trucks! I've used Michelin on them all.

awygnanski

I put Commander ll tires on my 2014 Street Glide. SWent for a 1100+ mile trip. Will NOT buy any other tire from now on. Awesome tires!!! Just hope they last a few miles longer than the Dunlops.

iceman237

I bought the Commander || as a recommendation from a friend. Best tires I've ever ridden. Changed my whole riding style. I've been riding motorcycles for over 45 years. I recommend them to any one serious about riding.

karbonhed

For your Kawi Vaquero or other 1700..... the 180/65/16 fits on the rear. Michelin doesn't make a 170/17/16 in the Commander, so buy this one!

Fras84

Great tire. I was able to get 14,000 miles out of it. In comparison I only got 9,000 out of my stock Dunlop.

jagermeister19

Awesome tire's. Best mileage of any tire.

captom

The price was good. Free shipping made it great! I've used Dunlops for over 30 years but after hearing positive comments about these Commander II's I thought I'd give them a try. I'm hoping the tires will perform as well as J&P.

hezacowboy

Great mileage tire

SHMorgan2009

Great service and great price to Alaska. The Michelin Commander II is a great tire on the V Star 1300. Unsure of the mileage yet, but handling and stability are top notch. I'd recommend this tire without reservations. It put almost an extra inch of rubber on the road at the contact point and has an extra 1/16 of an inch tread depth. Buy it!

Get-R done

I have bought a Michelin rear tire and foot pegs from you . the tire is doing great, I am very happy with it. It out perfomes the Harley tire that I had on my bike. The fooy peges are just what I was looking for. there very comfortable and I realy love them. Thanks for being there for me.

milotion2010

very good deal looking forward to blazing new trails and freeways in the Old West

ssgtriplea@yahoo

I absolutely love the way this tire performs! Already have 5k miles on it.

GS11RK

Very happy. Great feedback and feel. Looks great. Haven't rode in rain yet. Great price, great service.

u2dead

Great tire good price fast shipping

akuvent

Very happy with the purchase. The delivery process was good and the price was as low as I'd seen. Have only ridden a few miles on the new tire so I can't say much about the advertised longevity. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

nickisi

Great tire, feels good and grips on wet pavement. Now we'll see how long it lasts!

brotherb3

These are the best tires that i have brought for my Yamaha 1300 V-star bike!!!

cowboy57

Better than dunlop last longuer

marshwhit

Great tires. Got 17,500 miles on my last one. Running Michelin Commander 2's front and rear.

andytihansky

Just installed the tire. Going with Michelin vs. using Dunlop's in the past. If these Michelins have the performance of their car tires, I am expecting great results.

slcreamer33

I bought a set of the Michelin Commander II's and am thrilled with the smooth, quiet ride of this tire over the stock Dunlop. I have 3,000 miles of 2up riding on them and they look like the day I received them. GREAT tires thus far ..... Stay tuned for updates

slcreamer33

I ordered the Commander II's from J&P Cycles and they were at my doorstep in 3 days. I am TOTALLY satisfied with my choice on the switch from the stock Dunlops. With the detailed reviews and videos I was able to make an educated choice. I made the trip from the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia to the Carolina's for Myrtle Beach Bike Week. The ride on my Michelin's is much quieter and smoother than the stock Dunlops. I recommend these tires to anyone riding a Touring Bike. Thank you J&P Cycles for a GREAT tire,GREAT information, and GREAT Service

Raymond2013

I bought a set of commanders for my sportester. I have over 5k miles on them and still look great. They corner very well. Will be buying some for my Ultra Classic.

PHBIKER

Bought a set of these last year before my USA4ct. I have 16,000 miles on them now and still could get a couple thousand more. Best tires ever for my 2011 HD Ultra Classic.

rayf100

So far I really like this tire, getting to get the front one on.

Nighttrain269

J&P service was great. These tires though hydroplane bad and slip on dry tar snakes and on back roads that are dry where the gravel has worn off from the tar in curves. Very disappointed. They do however wear very well. 7000 miles and still very good tread. I'll be going back to the Dunlops though with the next set.

06fxst

Fast service n good price.

jay1971

Great tire. Very reliable good in the rain. Great on the dragon.

garycheesebrew

This is by far the best motorcycle tire I have ever had. Thanks Michelin for making these outstanding tires.

Dshehy40

Rides smooth, very stable in the curves

alankanemartin

Amazing value and quality. I got 17,000 miles out of my last Michelin Commander II 180/65B16 for almost half the cost of a dealer tire. My favorite by far.

rgilormini

First time using this brand and type of tire, pleased with it so far. Comfortable ride, great traction, quiet on any type of surface. Have not tried it on the rain yet, but feel comfortable it should perform as claimed!

sokatash1

so far

rosebudrider

Good price and fast delivery A+

michaelsadler

Excellent tire. Price was even better! I will buy all my tires from J&P.

wolf4950

best tires I have bought will tell my friends about them

TrmptPlyr

Best price, quick delivery.

rbartz

Great riding tire feel very stable in mtn riding.

gymalmberg

An awsome tire that you will almost double the amount of miles you get out of a rear tire. My last one got me over 15K and the only reason I changed it was because I picked up a screw. I could have safely gotten another 2000 miles out of it. I will have nothing else on my Ultra Classic.

AIRCRAFTMAN1

Love the new tire. Great service.

s.svensson

I have a Electra Glide Ultra with 14000miles on Michelin tires front and back. There is 40% left and this is mostly 2 UP riding. To me there is no other tire.

RandallCater

Michelin claims twice the mileage vs. competing brands; my experience with Commanders on my '09 FLHX bears this out. Great tires.

trucker1211

Easy ordering, quick turn-a-round, and reasonable prices with warehouse to residence convince. ADP

Mister Nasty

Awesome tire. 20,000 miles and great ride. Price is perfect. Figure I'd try something different this time and tried Metzeler high mileage. Wrong. 9,000 miles in and rides rough, tread cupped and wear pattern is odd. Never again Metzeler. I am a Michelin man from here forward. Also have matching front commander II with 12,000 miles showing hardly any wear at all. Thanks J&P and Michelin

chazzz369

excellent tire so far...3k miles...nice upgrade from stock dunlops.

roumas

Just returned home from 2500 mile trip on my new commander II tires and i am sold they ride great and are awsome in the rain, Michelin you got it right this time!

noyola65

I went with this tier based on the good reviews. I hope it measures up. I'm installing it this weekend.

sfcmims

Great tire! Just returned from a four day road trip to Arkansas, riding the Pig trail, stuck to the curves like glue.

badge3382

Great product.

jghandymann

Great tire.. Have over 4000 miles and it still looks new.. Other tires with this mileage were ready for change..

Radar63

Awesome tire and Great price

cjblas

Good traction in wet weather with great cornering. Price was right for the product and will buy again.

32curley

Stiff but better than Dunlops

reedro

Great tire at a great price

ighound

Very quick shipment. Great tire.

JimAdams60

Follow up review: Well the tires now have 8,000 miles on them and still look and handle well. I will have at least 13,000 miles on them by the time Sturgis gets here so that is another 4,200 + miles that will go on in two weeks. I will repost then how the tires are doing.

pres5853

a lot better tire than factory dunlop. no regrets. harley davidson should use the michelin commander ll for there factory tires.

jamesholm92

This tire is GREAT. It handles well on dry surfaces and even in a down pour. The price is reasonable and the appearance is nice.

bfultz

I purchased a set of the Michelin Commander II tires both front and rear specifically to ride in the 2012 Hoka Hey Motorcycle Challenge. I can say with 100% confidence after riding the challenge 6300 miles on some of the most challenging rodes in this country that these tires stood up better than any other tire I've ridden. The handling and road response was excellent. They gave me greater confidence in the 2 days of constant switchbacks we rode. In 23 days I road 14,025 miles and the tires still have a lot of tread left. Great tire and I would recommend them to everyone that is serious about riding.

gwbrogan

Good looking tire like the way it rides and love the way it rolls thought corners.

krinehart

I purchased this tire replace Harley OEM Dunlap tire. The tire handled very good and grabs to the road surface. Just got back from the mountains where they handled great!

JimAdams60

This is a new tire just introduced in January. It is a smoother riding tire than what came on the bike. Good in the rain.

sje1967@yahoo

Excellent product extremely pleased!

mcrowe07

Best ride since I bought the bike new.
