Seems to be good quality however, it would be nice had it come w/ a wiring diagram. I know, it's only 3 wires for the switch, but what wires,

It is working good, installed it without any problem

This part looked real good and was easy to install. Made my 96 Fatboy look even sharper. Only problem was bottom trim piece looked generic.

Perfect fit for my 1997 Fatboy.

By far one of the worst things I've ever bought on this site. First off, the quality was less than I was expecting. Its like whatever mould they used to cast the part has been in production from decades ago, and hasnt been replaced since. It had the rudimentary shape, yet lacked finer details I would expect. After my initial inspection, I decided to proceed with the part and "fix it up" for use on my bike. The kit came with a wire harness for the dash lights, a plastic clamp for the spedo, and a plastic strip that goes over the dash lights. All assembly was required. Dear lord, where do I begin. I started the install on the spedo, right away I can see the plastic retainer wont fit the spedo, so I steal the part off my previous dash. Then, I install the plastic clip for the dash lights, except it doesn't fit properly, After extensive modification, I get that installed. I immediately toss the wire harness as it needed so much assembly, I didn't want to mess with it, and mine was still serviceable. Installation of the key switch was also difficult, as the supplied screws looked like cheap wood screws. I replaced them with self tapping machine screws, which I would have assumed should have came with the part. No so much. Lastly, the rubber beading that goes between the dash and the fuel tank, is pathetic. I installed it, rode it for a day and after it vibrated itself into a ball, I removed it and replaced it with the old bead from my other dash. Overall, I ended up cannibalizing the majority of parts off my old dash just to get this one semi serviceable. Definitely not worth the price tag of $140. For the quality of parts, and as much as I had to do just to make it work, I would value this product at about $50 at best, and as such award it no stars. I do not recommend this part.
