• Totally engineered valve train kit enables Evolution style oiling for your old Shovelhead

• Top-end is oiled through JIMS proven Powerglide tappets, then up the rocker arms

• Tappets maintain oil pressure better because the oiling system is pressurized through the points of contact

• Kit includes special Powerglide tappets with Evolution style pushrod seats, Worksaver pushrods, chrome tappet blocks with gaskets, roller rocker arms and easy to follow instructions

• Works in all Shovelhead motors

Installed in rebuilt engine and had little trouble with air locks in lifters but sorted out after a bit of drama.This kit would exceptional if had included fasteners for lifter blocks and rocker shafts.Since installed in mid 2008 works a treat

I installed this kit when I rebuilt my '74 shovelhead last July, since then I've put about 5000 miles on it. Works great,quietest Shovel valvetrain I've ever heard. No install issues,no adjustments needed since install.Top end gets lots of oil. As far as I'm concerned the only advantage an Evo had over my Shovel was the top end oiling system...not any more. Way to go Jim's! P.S. Installed oil pressure gauge (5700035) in place of top end oil feed line ,worked out great.
