I HOPE J&P READS THIS: 3 stars because this was an unbelievably difficult install. Nothing went as per instructions. File off the ends? Unfortunately, I had to CUT off about 1/4-3/3' just to clear so I could get in past both fittings. Then, Install to fittings was very hard because the angle was true to my bike, although it specifies it is designed for my bike. In the end, I could not get it to fit to where I could tighten up the fittings and have it be sealed and secure. My loss as I had to through it to recycle! :(

Fit great!

Not exactly an easy install, but it does look good when its in. It's not a remove and replace part because it does require some custom fitting to Install. You will need at a minimum; a file, a hacksaw, a debur tool and maybe even an 1/4"x 18 NPT die to loosen up the fitting thread as they are a tight fit from the chrome plating.

perfect fit and easy installation!

On an '06 SG, the crankcase connection was difficult to install. Required a great amount of determination to complete but end-result was worth the effort.

Good product, but installation and removal as difficult as stock design with limited access.
