Just received these Heat deflectors and installed them on my '17 Indian Springfield. Looks awesome, not so sure they do the job I needed. Still on the fence on it. But I did find this to be true and I hope it helps. First off, the protective strip of tape that comes with them is way too narrow. Makes it hard to place it where needed. Should be at least 3/4"-1" wide. And second. After installation. It was a bit difficult to reinstall my side pane. But I did it. Those are the only reasons I gave a grade of 4.

I received these heat deflectors today. I am pleased so far. The look is very nice. Adds to the over all form and flow of the style of my Springfield. However I had to give a four where I would have given a 5+ stars. Here are the only two observations I had. First off, The clear tape that is included would be better at 3/4" to 1" wide. I had to be a bit more precise with that narrow strip that came with it. Not that easy to place. And then lastly. For those that ride the '17 Springfield. After installation of the left side deflector. I found it a little bit of a struggle to put the side panel back on. Good thing I don't need to open up that side very often. But with all that said. It looks awesome. I have yet to test ride. Only concern at this moment. Well they vibrate. There is a close tolerance on the left side front. It sit's between the tank and the spark plug wire cap. It may set or rest on that cap but I think that'll be okay. It not like under pressure or anything but that tape is suppose to protect from rubbing. Hope it works. Could use a wider piece for sure. Any Idea's?

I'm very pleased with these heat deflectors. I put them on my Indian Chief on a hot day and took a ride and was pleased with their performance.
