If you have stock pipes, you maybe able to hear. I tried bluetooth and aux plug, volume booster, no luck. Sound great if bike is off, otherwise can't hear it.

Looks great, but cant hear them. Added volume booster, tried direct without bluetooth, still cant hear music unless bike is off

I have these on my 2014 Road King. Wiring was the most difficult part. The instructions simply say something like "find a switched power source." I bought the Harley pigtail that plugs into the connector under the ride side cover, and it works fine. The Road Thunder unit plugged into that. As far as sound, it is good. It's not going to be as good as a set of 6x9 speakers, of course, but the sound is surprisingly good for its size. I wear a modular helmet and I can hear the music just fine at 60 mph. A couple of hints: connect your iPhone with a cable instead of Bluetooth. The signal is better with the wire. Also, go to Settings - Music - EQ and select Flat. This made a great difference in the volume I get from the setup.

I was so excited to find this, just had it put on my 2014 Breakout & it looks GREAT & puts out sound,I can hear with no problem upto 70 depending on helmet no helmet! no helmet 55/65 can hear very clear.
