These fit well with a Blast shield too. I used the Biltwell 7/8ths risers and Avon grips. I had to order the 7/8ths to 1" spacers . For the Honda Shadow Aero 2004 750VT

I put 3 little groves in my riser caps with an angle grinder as a preventative measure as these aren't knurled. They're rock solid. Great bars for $55.

Not normally an online shopper, especially with projects. But everything worked out perfectly, from the user friendly site, to mail timing, and the packaging. Will continue to purchase from J&P Cycles. Thanks guys!

Always wanted ape hangers, and these look sick on my 81' bobber.

good fit just thought they would be a little wider, but they are a better feel than the original bars.

Fit great on my d-d street750. Had to drill two small holes but was expecting that. Very heavy powder coat.

The bars looked amazing and got here quick but they were the wrong size, I typed my bike in and it said I needed 7/8 inch bars but when they got here I measured my bars and they're 1 inch. Customer service was super helpful with it though ive got the new bars on the way.

When I ordered I informed customer service that my bike was a 2001 Vulcan Nomad. Was told that I needed a 7/8 in bar. Rec'e it promptly but it didn't fit. Needed a 1 in bar when I contacted customer service. Rep was extremely courteous and helpful. Resent the correct bar as included a return address label. Very pleased with the service.

Handlebars Measuring Guide

To identify your handlebar needs, we recommend measuring your current handlebar's dimensions as a baseline.

To most closely match the measuring system used on our site, we recommend the following method:

Push a table against a wall. Prop up the handlebars in the corner where the table meets the wall, then rotate the bars forward until the front of the bars touch the wall. In this case, rise is the distance from the table to the highest point on the bars, with pullback measured from the wall to the farthest point back.

Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Diagram of Handlebar Measurements
Width: Measure between the two outside points of the handlebars.
Center Width: Measure between the two inside points of the handlebars.
Rise: Measure from the base of the handlebars to their highest point.
Pullback: Measure from the front of the bars to the furthest point back.

Additional Considerations:

  • Handlebars for Springer Softails are different than bars for other bikes. Learn More
  • We offer bars in two groupings by year of fitment — pre–1982 and later models. The differences are the result of a change of configuration in the switch housings. Learn More
