went to install this in the exhaust and it wouldn't fit. measured the size and it seems a bit large but the description says it fits my application. When I pushed on it, the end cap came loose. Bad weld job.

RICHARD on 5/14/2019

When taking out the Standard Baffle out and Starting the Quiet Baffle in the Quiet Baffle Mounting Flange Came Apart from the baffle tube that holds the muffler fiberglass sound suppressor. I Temporarily held it together with two radiator hose clamps and a piece of scrap metal, Seams like a hundred dollar baffle would should at least last to You start the engin. The baffle looks to be constructed well enough Except for the supposed to be Weld that supposed to hold the two parts together.

RICHARD on 5/12/2019

The Quiet Baffle Broke between the Mounting flange and the Baffle tube.

RICHARD on 5/7/2019

The Weld that holds the baffle tube to the flange that bolts to the end cap broke, there really wasn't hardly any Weld there.

RICHARD on 5/7/2019

I put the Vance and Hines Two in to One exhaust on and I felt it was to Load for My situation, so I reached for the Quiet Baffle. I took the Standard Baffle out and started to bolt the end cap to the quite baffle, the supposed to be weld BROKE, I got two radiator hose clamps and a piece of metal to keep it together Temporarily. I Believe this was just one of those crazy things. So far I am Loving the Vance and Hines two in to One Chrome Exhaust, it looks Great and I am getting more Low in Torque.

Bought this with the intent to keep the sound of the exhaust a little quieter to help hear the tunes better. Worked well for 400 miles and then started making a loud rattle sound. Removed the muffler and found the baffle had burned through all the fiberglass and theis make the baffle free to move and it actually broken in two. The piece closest to the engine (13" long) was just rolling around in there. And now the exhaust is loud. So putting the standard baffle back in and asking for a refund on this item.
