OK, this thing soundls like heaven but here's the reality. I run one of these in my 127 inch FLSTF. I have compression releases and a large starter in her She has been a super motor for years never giving me any issues, then I put one of these Lithiums in her. This battery is not a battery that you can just hop on your bike and ride away. You need to heat the battery up by leaving the lights on for a few minutes, like 2 or 3, then your bike can crank over. If you just hop on and its cold outside, forget it, you wont get the motor to turn over at all. For carb'd bikes that means flooding. I'd rather just loose a few pounds myself than worry about battery weight. Big motor bike? walk away from this type of battery.

I purchased a Bikemaster for my Heritae Softtail two years ago and it has worked great!You have to turn on the lights and let it warm up for 30 or 40 seconds witch was hard for me to get used to,then it cranks my S&S 111 right up!

Works great if you can ever get the battery installed in your motorcycle, unlike the factory battery on my '04 Sportster the posts on this battery are not flush with face of the battery. The terminals are not threaded like the factory battery either so you have the loose nuts that you get to battle as well while you're trying to make leads fit where they were never intended to be. You can eventually get the leads attached to it the battery, but do to their new awkward positions the battery will not fit back into the bracket. You will likely ruin the rubber on your leads will fight with this battery. When I removed the old battery I discovered it was 10 years old, had I known what I know now I would have just purchased another Harley battery, if kept on battery tenders during the winter months they'll last a long time. These Lithium batteries claim to last over twice as long but I have serious doubts I'll be getting 20+years out of this thing. If the leads of your bike connect from the top, you won't have much trouble installing other than the loose nuts; if your bike battery is attached from the sides, save yourself some money and a headache and buy a different battery...

I had a new 103 Stage 5 conversion done to my 2015 Road Glide Custom. At the same time, 585 cams were installed. The performance has been awesome, but starting it up has been sometimes dubious. The standard Harley battery just wasn't enough, but this battery has been a God send. My bike now cranks everytime without strain. I haven't found a down side. I would recommend it to anybody. Money well spent.
