I maintain three Harleys and am always removing inspection and derby covers. The allen head bolts are an excellent replacement for the torx head bolts on the Derby and Chain Inspection Covers. The chrome is much brighter than the factory torx head bolts. Plus, when compared to the tools that would normally be necessary to work the torx head bolts, and allen wrench all that's necessary and it's much smaller and easy to carry on the road. Also, Torx bolts are easy to damage and difficult to loosen or tighten without a socket adapter. The grade 8 allen bolts can be tightened as much as needed and with only the allen wrench. I just got a new 07 FLHX and have already replaced many of the factory bolts with the chrome allen heads.
