Arai Defiant-X Carr Helmet

A style that matches form and function, the Arai Defiant-X was created with aggressive styling that projects the strength within. Peripheral Belt construction born from Formula 1 racing lines the forehead of the Defiant-X. Made with a PB-cLc shell, which features technology developed in the highest level of racing in the world. Safety is further enhanced by the Super Fiber Belt that strengthens the shell like the bands of a barrel, this distinct belt resists the widening of cracks encountered in an impact while evolving our most advanced shell in strength, weight, and protection. The Defiant-X comes with Arai's exclusive 5mm peel-away cheek pads on both sides of the headliner to give you the option of 5mm more of interior.

PB CLC Shell:

VAS Shield System:

• VAS (Variable Axis System) shield and side pods are exclusive to the Arai Corsair X Helmet
• Variable axis (moving pivot point) allows shield mount position to be lower than most helmets
• Dual function lever releases both the side pod and the face shield for quick and simple face shield removal

VAS Shield Latch System:

• Captures and holds the face shield closed securely
• Provides a de-mist position to slightly crack the shield open
• Larger latch design allows for intuitive and seamless operation

VAS V MV Shield:

• VAS MAX Vision shield
• Provides excellent visibility in all seasons
• Includes clear anti-fog Pinlock insert

Ventilation:

• Free Flow System (FFS) ventilation creates airflow under the helmet to reduce wind noise and turbulence while increasing hot air exhaust
• Dual intake front vents, side exhausts and one-piece rear exhaust
• Three position chin vent
• Neck vent exhaust
• Vents are easy to operate with gloved hands

Interior:

• Facial Contour System (FCS) offers a snug fit by using a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds without excessive pressure
• Fully removable and soft interior liner with 5mm peel-away layer for a perfect fit

• Made from odor-resistant material which helps maintain neutral acidity levels close to human skin
