had alot of useful info.. only i wish it was year and model specific. also it lacked detailed trouble shooting scenarios.

Easy to follow

This manual is perfect for repairing my bike. It explains and shows in good detail any part I want to repair or replace. Would recomend Clymer manuals.

So far this repair manual seems to be very accurate and has some very good tips and techniques for getting any job done. When I trade up on a new bike I will order another manual for that bike.

Very good manual. Being new to motorcycles,I have found the manual very useful especially the chapters on maintanance.

I bought a Clymer manual for my Yamaha V-Star. I buy manuals for every bike I own and use them. They are always well thumbed and worn by the time I let the bike go. I find them useful, more so since the manufacturers' owners manuals get less and less useful. I use either Haynes or Clymer. I find them about equal in usefulness, as each usually has parts that are left out. I once had both for a Sportster I owned and found it took both to cover what I needed to know to keep the bike running. For serious repair and heavy maintenance, there is no replacement for the dealer [factory] shop manual, which I buy for bikes I like and intend to keep long term, but for for regular maintenance and light repair, either Clymer or Haynes manuals will get you through it, especially if you have serviced bikes before and don't need every angle covered by print and picture. One caveat, if your manual covers more than one model, check it before purchase if at all possible. Bikes that share the same motor often share manuals, but may have nothing in common except for the motor. Often these manuals will take one example bike for the service chapters and photographs, and it may not be the bike you actually own.
