Custom 2017 Street Glide
When we set out to build our 2017 Street Glide we had a particular goal in mind. Performance. We’re all about custom motorcycles but it has to be street capable because at the end of the day, it's all about riding the motorcycle. We added some extra ponies with a Vance and Hines FP3 tuner and
Hi Output 2 into 1 exhaust then coupled them with a classic
S&S teardrop air cleaner to get some much needed extra fuel and air in and out of the bike. To handle the job of controlling our 800lb bagger and its new found horsepower, we went to
Performance Machine for a set of 18” wheels, front and rear, with some
matching rotors for style, and some
classic calipers to give us complete control of our machine. We ditched the cast fork legs for some
contrast cut billet Performance Machine legs and 86’d the bulky front fender for a
Klockworks steel fender that followed the lines of our wheel nice and tight.
KST provided us with some bars that kept us comfortable and added some class, then we lightened the load of our touring rig even more by using
Kuryakyn's lightweight Riot floorboards and
pegs. The
Hogwerks super bright LED headlight helps us cut our way through the twisties even in less than ideal visibility, and
Custom Dynamics keeps us visible in the back with an LED taillight. We couldn’t have a bike this badass and not give it a proper coat of paint, so we stayed true to it’s Harley-Davidson roots and laid down an orange and black race inspired paint scheme that fit the touring machine turned performance bagger perfectly.
