This barn beauty has some serious bite. Keeping all the charm of a 1989 FXRS-SP, we packed this custom build with performance mods. Underneath all that gritty patina is a powerful sleeping beast sitting on modern, high-performance suspension and brakes. We managed to get hold of an incredibly rare S&S Cycle T124 “tweevo” motor. And at a whopping 124 cubic inches, it’s easily capable of 140-horsepower. Naturally, this called for the performance and durability of a Baker Drivetrain, and the OD6 fit perfectly. Not only is it good for up to a staggering 165 foot-pounds of torque, it also gave us an extra gear!
We swapped the front suspension for Racetech springs and Gold Valve Emulators, and got some Legend Suspension bagger-style REVO ARCs that were sprung for an FXR on the rear.
The brakes are Performance Machine calipers and Galfer wave rotors for plenty of stopping power.
The Bassani stainless 2-into-1 exhaust, LED lighting from Hogworkz and Custom Dynamics, Le Pera seat, and Biltwell bars are just a few of the many other modern upgrades.
The custom barn-find paintjob and the broken, zip-tied T-Sport-style fairing from the J&P Cycles clearance tent are what really gives this restomod-style build its character.
