2024 Triumph Stealth Editions break cover in color-fade paint

Oct 24, 2023

First came the Gold Line series. Then, the Chrome collection shined in 2023. Now, Triumph’s annual paint project turns to a darker palette with the unveiling of the 2024 Stealth Editions.

All Stealth Edition motorcycles will arrive in Triumph dealerships by spring 2024. Triumph photo.

Many of the usual suspects return, with key members of the Bonneville family filing into the lineup. That includes the Speedmaster, Bobber, T120, Speed Twin 1200, T100, Speed Twin 900, and Scrambler 900. Six different shades color the seven Modern Classics, but a unique color-fade effect unifies the group.

The painting process consists of a metallic ‘Silver Ice’ base, ‘Sapphire Black’ graphite vignette, and multi-layer tinted lacquer. Triumph claims the gradient reveals various hues and tones “under different conditions and appearing different from every angle.” The hand-painted finish also results in subtle variations between each unit, further individualizing the Stealth Editions.

Under those head-turning liveries, each model remains mechanically unchanged. As such, specifications won’t take top billing here. Instead, this “first look” will focus on looks. And the best way to appreciate the Stealth’s distinct cosmetics is with the following photos (and accompanying tidbits).

Bonneville Speedmaster Red Stealth

Featuring Triumph’s torquey 1,200 cc Bonneville twin, 47 mm Showa cartridge forks, and a preload-adjustable monoshock, the Speedmaster strikes a balance between chill and thrill. Triumph photo.

Starting at $14,595, the Bonneville Speedmaster Red Stealth offers a custom-worthy finish direct from the factory. Triumph photo.

Bonneville T120 Black and Blue Stealth

The T120 Black is the only Stealth Edition featuring a silver matte finish along with blacked-out wheel rims, mudguards, engine covers, mirrors, handlebars, headlamp bezel, and exhaust. Those specially painted parts come at an extra cost, though, with the variant starting at $14,295. Triumph photo.

With a retail price of $13,495, the T120 Blue Stealth tacks $800 on to the standard model’s MSRP. Triumph photo.

Bonneville Bobber Purple Stealth

Stripped-down styling, a 16-inch front wheel, single floating seat, and a robust 47 mm fork make good on the Bobber name. Triumph photo.

The Bonneville Bobber in Purple completes the cruiser-style Stealth Editions and comes similarly priced (to the Speedmaster Stealth) at $14,595. Triumph photo.

Speed Twin 1200 Red Stealth

Similar to the Speedmaster, the Speed Twin 1200 dons Triumph's Red Stealth paint scheme but only costs $13,695. Triumph photo.

Resplendent in red, Triumph’s retro roadster delivers canyon-carving pedigree with a competent chassis and 99 horses on tap. Triumph photo.

Bonneville T100 Blue Stealth

Triumph claims the the Bonneville T100’s 900 cc parallel-twin produces 64 horsepower (at 7,400 rpm) and 59 pound-feet of torque (at 3,750rpm). ABS and switchable traction control add modern rider aids to the package, as well. Triumph photo.

The T100 features the same Blue Stealth paint treatment as the T120 but at the more approachable price point of $11,745. Triumph photo.

Speed Twin 900 Green Stealth

The “middleweight” Speed Twin doesn’t concede much in the performance department thanks to a Brembo front caliper, two riding modes, and switchable traction control. Triumph photo.

The Speed Twin 900 is the most affordable option in the Stealth Edition series at $10,645. Triumph photo.

Scrambler 900 Orange Stealth

A 19-inch front wheel lends to scrambler styling while the 31-inch seat height accommodates a wide array of riders. A wide handlebar and mid-position footpegs make the Scrambler 900 that much more welcoming. Triumph photo.

The Scrambler 900 Orange Stealth rounds out the Stealth Editions with a price tag of $12,245. Triumph photo.
