spike starters are good but the one I bought a year ago was a lemon. I guess it happens to the best of them, but this is the third starter I went through in two year period. they don't make bikes or parts like they use to. I think i'm gonna give it up....

This starter was everything the description called for. It got me back on two wheels!!! Very satisfied!!

This cranks much better than the HD 1.4kw for my "01"FLTR 95cid w/SE heads. I had to grind off a little of the starter mounting bracket to make it fit, but that was all. I considered rebuilding the HD 1.4kw for the second time, but I don't think I shoukd have to do that every year. Opted for a change. Now, will it last longer than a year is the question. So far (3 mos)it feels like it will.
