Ventilation:

Outer Shell

The S-R7's premium outer shell features fiberglass outer layer, UD carbon composite layer, carbon-aramid fiber reinforcement layer and a fiberglass reinforcement layer. Excellent strength and efficient energy dissipation provided by the fiberglass outer layer and a unidirectional carbon composite layer provides radial strength around the shell. Aramid fiber and fiberglass layers bolster the other layers with critical penetration protection.

Aerodynamic Design

The S-R7's aerodynamic shell not only provides an aggressive aesthetic, it's free of any external channels or features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the helmet's structural integrity. A recess at the collarbone area prevents the shell from coming into contact with the body in a slide, which significantly reduces risk of collarbone injuries.

Premium Comfort

The unique and patented A-Head fitment system by Alpinestars allows you to adjust both the height and angle at which the helmet sits on your head for the perfect fit! Adjustments are made via a micro-adjustable pad that is connected to the helmet inner EPS liner. 

Optimal Airflow

You'll never lose your cool in the SR-7 thanks to ten total ventilation ports throughout the helmet. Six intake ports - three in the chin guard and three adjustable top of head vents - are complemented by four exhaust ports located laterally on the chin bar and the rear of the helmet.
