Designed for road racing, track days, and high-performance street riding, the FIM-approved Tech Air 7x Air Bag System is a cutting-edge evolution of Alpinestars' MotoGP Airbag technology. This self-sufficient motorcycle airbag system provides intelligent, low-profile, ventilated protection, efficiently covering the shoulders, chest, back, and extending down to the coccyx. The system can either integrate into Alpinestars race suits and jackets or be used independently with any brand's riding gear - granted there's enough room for the airbag to expand. The Tech Air 7x features proprietary deployment algorithms allowing it to be operable on race circuits, public roads, and light off-road trails. Tech Air 7x software utilizes a complex electronic system with twelve integrated sensors, such as tri-axial accelerometers and gyroscopes, fortified by AI learning to scrutinize the rider's body movements for sudden jerks or impacts.

This advanced system is the product of extensive research and collaboration with over 50% of MotoGP teams, club riders, and on-road ridership. In the event of a crash, the Tech Air 7x deploys in less than 44 milliseconds. It includes two predefined riding modes accessible via the Tech Air App: "Race Mode" for motion protection with dual deployments for separate crashes, and "Street Mode" for both moving and stationary protection, which is particularly beneficial against rear-end collisions at stops.

Sizing Note: Sizing for the Tech Air 7x Airbag System is race fit. Sleeves fit very snuggly, especially at the biceps, to keep bulk down under race suits. Fit is slimmer than Alpinestars Tech Air 5 airbag system. Reference size chart and size accordingly. 

Note: Read the entire user manual prior to operation. The Tech Air 7x Vest is designed to be worn under any properly fitting textile jacket, keeping in mind that the jacket must be large enough to accommodate the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. For textile jackets, riders need 4cm of additional space around the circumference of the body. Riders who wish to wear a leather jacket that is not Tech-Air compatible must be sure that the leather jacket has an additional 4cm of space around the circumference of the entire body. Riders can also pair the Tech Air 7x Airbag Vest with any Alpinestars Tech-Air compatible jacket that features airbag expansion panels. Not intended for use with heated riding gear. Heated gear exceeds the Tech Air 7x's upper operating limit of 122° F.
