Performance valve springs are necessary for the 574 cam. Although not necessary, performance lifters are advised. Will function with factory pushrods on engines that have factory stack up; adjustable pushrods are needed if the deck height, cylinders, or rocker boxes have been changed from stock. While not necessary, enhanced cylinder head work, performance exhaust, and compression are advised for optimal bottom end performance.
