High Lifter APEXX Front Forward Control Arms
These heavy-duty control arms provide extra support compared to the factory OEMs. They are constructed using 1.5" DOM with .188 wall tubing, which is a significant increase in size and steel thickness, resulting in enhanced durability and strength.
The lower arms also have an adjustable component in the bushing collars to prevent premature wear caused by lift kits, portals, or larger tires. When set to the factory position, the kit allows for 3/8" of camber adjustability in both directions. The adjustable bushing collars are heat treated and plated, ensuring the added strength of your vehicle.
This kit comes pre-packaged and pre-adjusted to the factory position. Please use factory bushings and caps when installing.
Increased ground clearance by strategically arching the lower control arm with double and TRIPLE bends. This unique design allowed you to get an additional 1.75" of ground clearance. These bends maintain the factory geometry, which helps reduce wear on components like axles and tie rods. These forward arms allow you to run larger tire (up to 34.5" depending on application) without a suspension lift. They have also improved the upper control arm by repositioning the sway bar tab. This will reduce the extreme angles placed on the sway bar links and reduce wear.
The utilization of reinforced ball joint brackets effectively results in an enhancement of over 130% in the mounting area of the ball joints. This enhancement significantly aids in the prevention of any failure or detrimental deformation, commonly known as "egging" of the mounting bracket.
