The Hot Rods Connecting Rods offer an exceptional solution for repairing both OEM and Hot Rods branded crankshafts. These high-performance rods are forged from 8620 case-hardened AISI steel in the USA and exhibit impeccable precision in their finishes down to the micron. The bores are hardened, and the bearing surfaces are double-honed to support smooth, reliable high RPM operation. The rods also feature a double-drilled small end and include oiling grooves to boost lubrication. The kit also includes a crank pin, also forged from 8620 AISI steel and case-hardened. Note that Polaris twin-cylinder engines require two kits per vehicle.
