Jims 6-Speed Overdrive Super Gear Kit For Harley
The 5-speed transmission kit enhances performance by introducing a close-ratio first gear, allowing for rapid acceleration from a standstill. It provides seamless gear transitions, leading into an overdrive sixth gear that significantly reduces RPMs by approximately 475 on the highway, ensuring a smooth cruising experience. This upgrade enhances driving dynamics while delivering a powerful combination of speed and efficiency.
Features:
- Designed to turn stock 5-speed transmission into a 6-speed
- All gear sets use 2.94:1 close-ratio 1st gear that widens bike's speed range in 1st gear and lessens the rpm drop when shifting into second
- Overdrive 6th gear (.86:1 ratio) lowers engine rpm by almost 475 at 75 mph
- Creates a more relaxing cruising speed
- Reduces vibration that creates wear
