The K&N 57-1141 AirCharger Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and air intake housing. The objective is to allow the engine to easily draw in a larger volume of air, thereby improving power and acceleration at all RPMs.

This system includes high-flow K&N air filters and a heat shield enclosed within the previous air box space. The air is guided through smooth, free-flowing aluminum intake tubes up to the engine's throttle body. This design ensures a notable power boost while maintaining optimal air flow efficiency. The oversized, cone-shaped air filters are reliable for up to 100,000 miles before requiring servicing, based on driving conditions. Installation of this air intake is straightforward, utilizing existing factory mounting points and comes with a replacement silicone idle bypass hose.

The product is 50 state legal with CARB approval (EO Number: D-269-78). It thereby provides an assured performance upgrade that meets regulatory standards.
