The Kryptolok Combination U-Lock is engineered for robust protection with a 12.7mm hardened steel shackle and a double deadbolt locking mechanism that secures both sides of the shackle, enhancing its toughness. Rated at a mid-tier protection level according to Kryptonite's security rating scale, this U-Lock provides a secure locking area of approximately 4" by 9", effectively resisting cutting and drilling. It remains both portable and lightweight. The lock features a user-settable four-digit combination, supported by an online code recovery service. Additionally, the lock is covered with a protective vinyl to prevent damage to the bike's frame and paint, ensuring secure locking for not just the bike but also accessories such as luggage and helmets.
